Cabinetry Warranty

Normac Kitchens warrants the products it manufactures, against material defects and workmanship of its products as per contract.

All hardware, drawer slides and interior metal accessories are also covered. During the warranty period, if a defect is reported, Normac will investigate, and repair should Normac deem it to be warrantable (including labour costs).

Cabinets are warranted to exposure to temperatures up to 85°C. The high heat and steam from toasters, kettles, steamers, and other countertop appliances can be much higher than 85°C (185°F) and therefore must not be allowed to come into direct contact with the cabinets to prevent discolouration and peeling.

Joints between the cabinets and the wall of the house/apartment/condominium, as well as the adjustments on the doors, drawers, and the Lazy Susans may need to be resealed or adjusted later due to the settling and drying out of the building. This work is not under the warranty.

Nature creates but never duplicates. Two pieces of wood, even from the same tree, are never exactly alike. Due to the difference in natural colour and grain, each piece of wood will react differently to the finishing materials used.

Normac Kitchens is not responsible if the cabinets are damaged by deterioration of the product from normal use or misuse, abuse, negligence, alterations, defects resulting from exposure to smoke, household cleaners, moisture, humidity, extreme temperature, heat or sunlight exposure including improper handling of the cabinetry by others.
